Project Overview
As the social media coordinator & graphic designer for JBrows Beauty Bar, I created visual content and marketing materials designed to help potential clients discover the brand, understand its services, and take action. I managed content across social media and promotional channels while maintaining a consistent visual identity.

The Challenge
For a beauty service business, social media often serves as an initial point of contact. Potential clients need to quickly understand what services are offered, what makes the business different, and how to book or learn more. The challenge was creating content that could capture attention while communicating this information clearly.

Audience & Design Approach
I considered the behaviors of social media users when developing content, particularly the need to communicate value quickly in a visually crowded environment. Rather than treating every post as purely promotional, I used a mix of service-focused graphics, promotional content, and visual storytelling to create different entry points for potential clients. I used visual hierarchy to prioritize the information users were most likely to need first, such as the service, promotion, or key message. Supporting details were given less visual emphasis so users could understand the primary message without having to read every element.

I also maintained consistent typography, imagery, composition, and branding across social graphics, flyers, brochures, and advertisements. This helped create a recognizable visual system rather than having each marketing piece feel disconnected. For promotional content, I focused on making the offer and intended action immediately visible. Clear hierarchy and concise messaging made promotional information easier to scan and helped guide users toward the next step.

Outcome
The project strengthened JBrows Beauty Bar's visual presence across digital and print marketing while giving me experience balancing audience needs, business goals, content strategy, and visual communication. It also strengthened my ability to design marketing experiences around how users discover information and decide whether to engage with a service.
